Shriya, once a top heroine who worked with several top artistes like Nagarjuna and Chiranjeevi, became a big heroine after getting an opportunity to play opposite Rajanikanth for ‘Sivaji’.

After that she tried her hand in Bollywood but failed to click there. After that she tried to return to the south, but failed to get good opportunities as many young heroines occupied the slots.

She, however, is trying to make her presence felt in some item numbers, err… special songs.

The latest buzz is that she is getting ready to sizzle in a special song for ‘Kandireega’ with Ram and Hansika in the lead roles, directed by Santosh Srinivas and produced by Bellamkonda Suresh on the banner of Sri Sai Ganesh Productions.

It is worth mentioning here that she also did one such special song in Ram’s debut film ‘Devadasu’. The film unit sources say, ‘Shriya was asked to do the special song to pull as many crowds.’
